Aerial Hammocks are not all created equal. You will find Yoga mats ranging from $20 to $160. The main difference in the price is performance, quality, and comfort; you probably already know this if you have been practicing Yoga. You will find the same principle applies to Aerial Hammocks. Description
The Yoga Studio offers Aerial Yoga classes 7 days per week, and we use the same great quality Aerial Hammocks that we offer to you.
Aerial Hammocks can be available in both Single Point or Double Points. TYS™ offers both and they are specifically designed for Yoga. Single Point Aerial Hammocks are more versatile since they move easily in all direction, giving you a sense of freedom in your movement. Double Point Hammocks offer a predictable forward and backward movement. They also have less compression against your side body. Single Point Hammocks are better suited for various styles of Aerial practice such as Aerial Yoga and Aerial Dance.
Our Hammocks are packed with many great features. Here are some of the bells and whistles:
- The fabric has been tested for a maximum weight of 2000 lbs
- The fabric has a low stretch, making it easier to pull yourself up at the same time remaining comfortable
- The fabric is thicker so that it does not cut into the body like the thinner fabric hammocks
- The Aerial Hammocks have adjustable straps, which allow you to adjust the height making it easy to accommodate different users
- The adjustable strap is chosen for strength and to minimize a single point of failure
- The fabric reaches close to the ceiling, so you grab onto soft fabric instead of rough hanging straps
- Our Aerial knots do not tighten and wrap around the rescue-grade steel carabiners. This keeps the hardware from scratching the fabric at the same time making it easier to untie the knots if needed
RETURN POLICY
ALL Aerial equipment are non-returnable and non-refundable.
HAMMOCK CARE
Machine wash cold with “green” washing detergent. Tumble dry with no heat or hang dry inside. Avoid long sun exposure. Do not bleach. Avoid wearing anything abrasive or sharp, such as clothing with zippers while using the hammock.

I had an aerial hammock installed by The Yoga Studio a month ago and am absolutely loving it! The quality of materials and installation are professional. I love my custom colors and haven’t seen better materials anywhere else (including studios!).
If you’re local to the area, I also highly recommend an installation by Louis. Though it’s a bit pricier, he’s the best! Louis has been performing these installations for ages and is an aerialist himself. He’s able not only to provide the best technical solution for your custom setup, but also able to advise on details such as adding an extra carabiner to face the hammock towards a window or adjusting the setup a few inches to provide extra room for taller people. Perfection!

Louis and Pik Chu were both a pleasure to work with in installing our beautiful hammock. Pik Chu was a part of the design aspect, helping to pick out the fabric color and needed accessories to help fit into our home. The work that needed to be done wasn’t a standard installation, given that we needed a piece of our drywall to be cut out and replaced again. However, Louis did a thorough job with the installment and we feel insured of its safety. Safety with a hammock is priority and nothing to mess around with.
Both are very competent and thorough in the work they do. We were very please with the outcome of their work. It’s nice to have the hammock hang in a place that could be put to the side elegantly (thanks Pik Chu), but can also serve as a good conversation piece!
We love being able to come home after a long day, relax, stretch out our body and practice aerial yoga at home. We would definitely recommend them to anyone else who is looking to get a hammock installed.

I’ve been taking aerial yoga at The Yoga Studio (TYS) for the past 3 years. I loved it so much I bought a hammock so I could practice at home. Louis from TYS did a great job installing it for us. I really appreciated how he carefully inspected the ceiling structure and reinforced it where necessary to make sure the hammock was safe. Everything he installed was high quality, and Louis himself is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was also careful to keep our home clean as he worked.
We just moved to a new house and had him do the installation for us again. The installation cost is not cheap, but modifications to a house rarely are. It’s possible that we could have found a cheaper general contractor, but it was important to us that the hammock was installed correctly and safely, and Louis gives us the highest confidence. I highly recommend hiring him to install your hammock.
